Questions answered
How does the 20% work?
If a placement happens, the standard recruitment fee is ~20% of salary. 20% of that fee goes to whoever introduced the hire (or the recruiter who placed them).
Direct intro to the engineer is fine?
Yes. If you know the engineer, you don't need a recruiter in the middle.
When is the introducer paid?
After the engineer passes probation (12 weeks).
